My love of animals is nothing new for people that know me. Last year, my mom and I rescued 11 cats/kittens together and got them all adopted. It's almost like we have a magnet inside of us for homeless/injured/unwanted animals- it's a blessing/curse at the same time. Boyfriend & I currently have two cats and a pup living with us in our tiny house, so it's incredibly important that they have cute stuff since it's visible to everyone who comes over! Yes, our pets are incredibly spoiled but they're worth it. One of my favorite sayings is: "life is tough, get a dog".

Also, if you're a dog owner in Houston you must visit the Boneyard! It's a bar/dogpark where you can drink outside while your pup runs around. Lots of fun and they're hosting an event this Thursday!
