My Year with Eleanor // Gone Girl // The Interestings // Lean In // Unbroken

Sitting down with a good book is kind of what I've been craving lately. I love getting the chance to escape reality and really dive into a book. I've been hearing great things about these books lately. I just finished My year with Eleanor and it was fantastic. Very witty and fun, its the story about a woman who gets laid off and follows Eleanor Roosevelt's famous quote "do one thing every day that scares you". And I just started Lean In by Facebook COO, Sheryl Sandberg. It's outlines women's career struggles and how to reach your full potential. Is it a little feminist? Umm yes. But its also very empowering! Gone Girl is a thriller and I've heard a few friends say that Unbroken is the best book they've read. What are you reading this summer??
