Recent Find

Wow! It has been quite the hiatus since my last post. Things started getting uber busy. I moved into my new place, took on way more responsibility and clients at work, and I've been enjoying some summer traveling. But I've missed my dear old blog, and I'm going to make a real effort to get back into the swing of things!

I had a chance to shop by the Guild shop yesterday in Houston. For those of you unfamiliar, its a resale shop where you can find a great deal, you just have to realllly look around. It was my first time there, and look what I found...

Bamboo armoire. great conditions. just needs fresh paint. Should I go for it?? This would be a great piece for a dining room, or you could use it in a bedroom. The options are endless- but I would love to put a fresh coat of white lacquer or light grey lacquer paint on it, paint the inside a solid color, possibly change the glass shelves to thing wood shelves, and if I used it in my bedroom I could even frost the glass to hide everything inside.
